About Freya Local Girl
Meet Freya, a young German Shepherd mix who’s around 1-3 years old and weighs 52 pounds. She was found wandering the streets of Massachusetts in rough shape, and thankfully, she’s got another chance at a loving home! Freya is adjusting well to her new surroundings and is a gentle girl eager to find her forever family. Freya enjoys her squeaky toys and loves to snuggle on the couch, making every day cozy and fun. While she's not had a chance to interact with kids yet, she's friendly with strangers and takes to new environments quickly. Given her desire for a peaceful life, she would thrive as a solo dog. She’s been doing well with leash walking and crate training, but she still needs a bit of patience as she learns potty training in her new home. Freya is currently being treated for a UTI and is under veterinary care for further assessment regarding her health. Despite her past, she’s eager to move forward and is ready to give and receive love in a caring environment. Will you be the one to welcome her home? To learn more about Freya, you’ll need to fill out an adoption application. She’s waiting for you!
