About Rancher
Rancher is in search of a forever home after a stint in foster care. At just 7 months old and 30 pounds, this Australian Shepherd mix is smart, eager, and full of energy, making him a perfect companion for an active and experienced owner. As a young herding breed, Rancher thrives when engaged. He is quick to learn new tasks and would excel in activities like agility, obedience, or any sport that challenges both his mind and body. His playful nature is complemented by socialization with other dogs; he loves to romp and wrestle with his furry friends. However, Rancher requires a dedicated owner who understands working breeds. He needs not only physical exercise but also ongoing training and mental stimulation. Ideally, his new home would be one where someone is around frequently to help him reach his full potential. Given his strong herding instincts, Rancher is best suited for a home without small pets or children. He is already making progress with house training, getting better with regular outdoor opportunities. Rancher is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is currently waived. Click apply to start the adoption process.
