About Roo

Roo is an affectionate and gentle girl, still filled with that delightful puppy spirit. Though she’s a bit shy, she enjoys playtime, especially with squeaky toys. Around other dogs, she's friendly and submissive, even with the smaller breeds. At just 8 months old and weighing 48 lbs, Roo has some growing and filling out to do. She’s a mix, likely containing both lab and schnauzer traits, and perhaps a dash of poodle. Previously a stray, Roo has a heart of gold and deserves a loving home that recognizes her worth. She's currently in the Paws in Prison program, where she’s learning basic obedience and building confidence over the next 8 weeks. Roo is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on prevention for fleas, ticks, and heartworms. Available for adoption here in Arkansas, she can also be transported to New England, but adopters must arrange for pick-up in PA, NJ, or CT on Saturdays. Ready to fall in love?
