Meet Essie, a playful and affectionate 2-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever. Found as a stray, she was welcomed into a loving home by a couple before transitioning to Wags Inn Canine Charities. Essie is 70 lbs of fun, known for her silly antics and love of fetch, making her the perfect adventure companion. She enjoys car rides and is motivated by treats, which shows in her eagerness to learn leash etiquette. Though Essie experienced some skin issues from her time as a stray, she has improved significantly with consistent care. She gets along well with children of all ages, but would prefer to play with dogs her size, as she doesn't play nicely with smaller dogs.
