About Atticus

Atticus is a truly special boy, rescued from the streets of New Orleans. He came to the rescue with a serious open wound on his neck that required surgical closure and laser therapy. During his recovery, Atticus decided he preferred the comforts of indoor life, lounging on the couch with his foster family. He thrives on affection, loves being petted, and enjoys cuddling up next to his humans; he even likes to be the "little spoon" when snuggling in bed, giving sweet nose boop kisses along the way. His foster parents describe him as the most affectionate cat they've ever known. However, Atticus prefers to be the only cat in the household, likely due to his past experiences while living outdoors. He craves all the attention he can get from his humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your space and time with, Atticus is your guy! At around 3-5 years old, Atticus is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He is also FIV positive, but this will not affect his health or living situation as he needs to be an only cat for the best life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
