About Hemi

Meet Hemi. Her journey began in a busy intersection, where she was found lost and scared. When Hemi arrived at Woodbridge Regional Animal Control, she had open sores and infections, but thanks to the dedicated care she received, this lovely girl has made an impressive recovery. Initially shy, Hemi has blossomed into a friendly and engaging companion. She adores everyone she meets and is food-motivated, making her eager to learn. Hemi already knows basic commands and had a successful vet visit, where she got up to date on her vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. Hemi's favorites include playing with toys, enjoying a good game of fetch, and spending quality time with her people. While she doesn't seem to have any issues with other dogs, a meet-and-greet is still needed. She's not recommended for homes with younger children—12 years and older is ideal.
