About Frank

Meet Frank! This energetic and affectionate 1-year-old Lab mix is a delightful 65-pound bundle of joy who found his way to the shelter after quite an adventure. Originally, Frank wandered onto a farm, making friends with the resident dogs and attempting to trot alongside the horses. While the horses weren’t quite on board with his idea of fun, the family who discovered him knew he deserved a proper home. Frank is a fantastic adventure buddy who loves to chase toys and is keen on getting treats. Once he's had his fun, he enjoys cuddling up and showering you with kisses. He has shown he’s mostly potty trained, with occasional accidents that are expected during his adjustment period. Thankfully, since his neutering, he's become more settled and will do even better in a home with a routine. While he gets along with some dogs, he can be a bit picky and reactive during initial introductions. If you have a furry friend at home, a slow meet and greet at the shelter would be ideal to ensure they all hit it off. Frank is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations, ready for a loving forever home. He’s waiting for you at The Babinski Foundation Animal Shelter in Pequot Lakes, MN.
