About Hazel

Hazel is a charming 10-month-old with beautiful brown eyes. Despite being overlooked time and again, she’s ready to find her forever home. Arriving with two siblings back in November 2025, they quickly found their families while Hazel continued to wait patiently for her turn. This gentle girl thrives on companionship, always wanting to be by your side. She loves other dogs and gets along well with them, happily sharing her space in a sanctuary along the Texas/Mexico border. Hazel is house and crate trained, making her a great addition for any family. She thrives around children and has shown just how sweet she can be with them. One of her favorite activities? Playing in water! Whether it’s a small bucket or a big lake, Hazel is all in. At just 30 lbs, she’s considered full-grown and has a wonderful personality that shines through. She’s good with cats and isn’t bothered by their presence. Hazel has been spayed, is heartworm negative, and is current on all vaccinations and preventive care. This wonderful companion is in Gregory, TX, but she can be transported to various locations across the Central US and East Coast for her adoption. Consider bringing Hazel home. She’s been waiting far too long for someone to love her!
