About Harper
Meet Harper! ❤️ Harper is a sweet, affectionate girl looking for a new forever home after returning to the rescue due to changes in her family's schedule and dynamics. This lovely Anatolian Shepherd is house-trained and kennel-trained, though she’ll need a secure, escape-proof kennel when crated. She enjoys walks and does well on a leash while getting along splendidly with both dogs and cats. Companionship is important to Harper; she thrives on being close to her people. However, she can experience separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods, so having someone home often, or a securely fenced yard where she can bask in the sun, would suit her well. Harper is great with children but, considering her size, she would be better in a home with older kids to avoid any accidental tumbles during playtime. A daily stroll, some outdoor time, and abundant love will keep her happy—this low-key girl doesn’t require much exercise. If you’re searching for a loyal companion to enjoy life’s simple moments with, Harper could be the right fit!
