Meet Mahogany, a delightful and affectionate girl eager to swap her shelter life for a loving home. Though she found her way to us as a stray, it’s clear Mahogany has spent time in a home before. She’s likely house-trained, knows commands like "sit" and "shake," and has excellent manners that showcase her past companionship. Intelligent and playful, Mahogany enjoys puzzle games, but her heart truly belongs to stuffed animals. She walks well on a leash, though she might pull a bit when excited. This pup thrives on human companionship and can experience separation anxiety, with a tendency to bark when left alone. Therefore, a home where someone is present most of the day would suit her best, as she needs a bit of support to build her confidence. Mahogany gets along well with other dogs and would appreciate a calm friend who won’t overwhelm her. While she loves to play, she should be in a home without very small children to prevent any accidental bumps during her happy greetings.
