About Dexter

Meet Dexter, a charming male cat who's about 4 years old. Neutered and rabies vaccinated, he comes with up-to-date flea prevention and is litter box trained. His adoption fee is $100. Dexter sports a classic black-and-white tuxedo, and he’s full of sweetness. He began his life in a forest colony, where he always had his twin brother by his side until sadly, his brother disappeared. Despite this tough start, Dexter quickly learned to trust people and was among the first cats in the colony to enjoy human interaction. One memorable moment happened during the Fourth of July. Scared of the fireworks, Dexter melted into my arms, seeking comfort as the noise rattled outside. He is a grown cat who thinks he’s still a baby—it's impossible to change his mind about that! Dexter has an adorable game of tag. He’ll insist you chase him for pets, then dart away, flopping dramatically to draw you in. Just watching him brings smiles. Being a former stray, Dexter requires some time to adjust to new environments. His previous adoption didn’t work out because he wasn’t given the gentle introduction he needed, resulting in a week of hiding. For his transition, a small, quiet room is ideal at first. Once he’s comfortable, he’ll be ready to explore and give you affectionate companionship. Dexter loves being held, but he'll politely let you know when he's had enough by gently pushing away. He’s seeking a caring adopter who understands trust is built over time. With a little patience and plenty of playtime, Dexter will reward you with loyalty and joy each day.
