Petey is a male adult Domestic Long Hair cat, medium-sized, with an independent nature and a love for life’s simple pleasures. He is house trained, altered, and fully vaccinated. Located in Johnstown, NY, he seeks a stable and loving home to thrive in.

About Petey

Petey spent this past winter at a feed station, where he found shelter in an unlikely spot, a styrofoam cooler stuffed with straw. When he arrived, he was heavily matted and battling fleas, seeking refuge from a difficult life. Since then, he's been lovingly cleaned up and received thorough veterinary care. Petey is FELV/FIV negative and up to date on vaccinations, including extensive health testing. He is microchipped and ready for his forever home. Petey would thrive in a stable environment without small children, as large, loud dogs can make him anxious. He has a calm disposition and prefers the comfort of a cozy bed and a full belly over being a lap cat, though he appreciates gentle pets. He’ll need an understanding adopter who can provide him the time to become comfortable in new surroundings. A home with another cat would be ideal. Are you ready to give Petey the love he deserves?
