Though he’s still refining his household manners, he’s making excellent progress with consistent training. Diesel thrives alongside other dogs and enjoys the company of his foster siblings, particularly a resident Lab. It's best for him to be in a home with another confident, playful large-breed dog to help him expend energy and grow more self-assured. His playful nature makes him unsuitable for small dogs, and due to mixed reactions to cats, a feline-free home is ideal. As an active young Lab, Diesel needs a family dedicated to daily exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training. A securely fenced yard is essential for him to run and play freely. He can be a bit jumpy and mouthy when excited, so a home with children over 10 who have prior experience with large-breed dogs is recommended. Diesel loves sturdy chew toys and enjoys parading around with stuffed toys. He is completely potty trained, although he should be crated when left alone, as he can get restless and might get into mischief.
