About Ranger
Ranger is an athletic 8-year-old male English Setter weighing 65 lbs. He spent his early years as a hunting companion in a rural setting, accustomed to being around people and engaging in outdoor activities. With the life changes his owner has faced, he now seeks a loving home where he can thrive. Living indoors with his people is essential for Ranger as he’s not suited for kennel life. He’s completely housetrained and doesn’t have accidents, which makes him a great indoor companion. Ranger gets along well with both dogs and cats after some time to adjust, showing his friendly nature. Regular exercise is key; ideally, he needs about an hour of activity daily, as he absolutely loves being outdoors. Though he needs a little work on leash training, Ranger is smart and eager to learn. He can be a bit reserved at first but warms up quickly and is known for his sweet disposition. Ranger is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He’s ready to find his forever home in Washington state (transport across state lines isn’t possible), with potential for adopters in British Columbia, Oregon, and Idaho. Let’s make his next chapter the best one yet. Click apply to start the adoption process.
