Having been raised as the beloved center of his family since he was just three weeks old, he thrived on love, adventures, and plenty of snuggles. Unfortunately, a devastating house fire forced his family into housing that doesn’t allow dogs, leading to this difficult decision. This charming Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix, weighing in at 60 pounds, is a delightful balance of energy and calm. He’s excited for outdoor activities like running or swimming but equally enjoys lounging on the sofa once the day’s adventures are done. Diesel has a sweet quirk of gently suckling on throw blankets, and he adores plush squeaky toys, bringing joy to those around him. He is a smart dog with a strong desire to please; Diesel is crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and responds to commands like “sit.” He’s known for his loyal bark when someone arrives and even likes to sing along to high-pitched sounds, adding a touch of humor to his charm. Diesel gets along wonderfully with kids and has been great with his 10-year-old nephew. However, he prefers to be the only pet in the home, as he wishes to soak up all the love from his new family.
