About Duchess
Duchess was found in a ditch along a busy highway, showing signs of having been a stray for a while. A compassionate passerby rescued her and sought help for the veterinary care she required, bringing her into our program just a month ago. Now, Duchess is ready for a loving home. This charming girl exudes friendliness and affection for everyone she meets, showing a keen eagerness to please. With her striking eyes and quick learning ability, she adapts well to new environments. Duchess gets along seamlessly with dogs of all ages and sizes and has interacted with children as young as seven, proving she’s great with kids. At 8 months old, she weighs 21 pounds and is likely a mix of Lab and Cattle Dog, expected to be a medium-sized adult. She is spayed, vaccinated against rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, and is microchipped. Currently, she is heartworm negative and up to date on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
