He strikes a balance between being an adventurous companion and a calm couch buddy, making him a wonderful fit for someone looking for both fun and relaxation. Caspian enjoys his daily walks and can even keep up as a jogging partner. Weighing about 45 lbs, he could benefit from a bit more weight to truly thrive. Rescued as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in Central California, Caspian was at risk of euthanasia before a foster stepped in to save him. After a grooming session, he’s now looking fresh and ready to find his forever home. Everyone he meets loves his affectionate personality and good manners. Caspian knows basic commands like "sit" and is eager to learn more; he’s food-motivated and will happily prove that you can teach old dogs new tricks. Caspian might do well with other laid-back dogs and could live with dog-savvy cats after a slow introduction. He enjoys the company of kids aged 10 and up and is fully housetrained. He’s managed fine on his own with a kong and some music to keep him company.
