Rosie
AvailableRosie is a large, female Lab mix who has been spayed. Though her exact age is undetermined, she is classified as an adult. Rosie is currently in Saint Peters, MO. She hasn't had a chance to show off her true personality, as kennel life has been stressful for her. She needs a home that will include her in daily activities and help her feel safe and secure.
About Rosie
Rosie is a retired mama looking for her safe landing spot. This 3-year-old Lab mix has already lived a full life and has experienced quite a bit along the way. Unfortunately, she found herself in a shelter, facing the stress of kennel life, and it has taken a toll on her. Rosie has shown signs of being overwhelmed, trembling and trying to escape, leading to minor injuries. She needs to get out soon to decompress and discover her joyful side again. In a more suitable environment, Rosie is a different dog. She does well with other dogs that share her energy level but can be reactive near fences. She isn’t a fan of cats, so a feline-free home would be best. Rosie thrives in active households that involve her in daily adventures. Confined or sedentary living isn’t her style; she needs a family ready to help her channel her energy positively. With the right structure and patience, Rosie will turn into the loving companion everyone wants. She just needs a chance to feel safe and truly home.
