About Misty

Meet Misty, a true survivor on the lookout for her happy ending. This resilient 3-year-old brown-and-black tabby with white has faced challenges that would daunt many, but she never lost faith in better days ahead. After being surrendered to Stafford County Animal Shelter, Misty stepped up to care for her own kittens and even fostered orphaned ones. Once her little ones grew up, it was finally time for her to receive the love she deserves. Unfortunately, she faced another setback when one of her eyes had to be removed due to infection. Fortunately, Misty thrived in a caring foster home, where she healed and regained her strength. Now, sheโ€™s happy, healthy, and eager to find a forever home. Misty has no issue being one-eyed; she's playful and loves to greet her humans at the door. Outgoing and affectionate, she thrives on attention and enjoys exploring her surroundings. She gets along well with other cats and is already litterbox trained. Misty is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. After a lifetime of caring for others, she deserves a loving home that will cherish her. Could you be that special someone? The adoption fee is $35. Adoption takes place at Stafford County Animal Shelter, located at 26 Frosty Lane, Stafford, VA 22554. For adoption hours, please call 540-658-7387. To help Misty find her forever home, please consider sharing her story. Sheโ€™s ready for a life filled with cozy naps, gentle pets, and all the happiness she has always dreamed of.
