About Lilly
Meet Lilly. This sweet senior girl has truly blossomed since leaving the shelter. She adores being close to her people and can often be found draping her front half across your lap while you relax together. A cozy sweater, a comfy bed, and her favorite humans nearby bring her the greatest joy. Lilly is house-trained and can manage an 8-hour workday comfortably. She rarely barks; that’s just not her style. She walks beautifully on a leash, never pulling, and is a champ during baths and nail trims. A foodie at heart, she’s easy to medicate, particularly if you have peanut butter or spray cheese on hand! Though she has limited vision, Lilly sees best in bright sunlight and learns quickly when exploring new spaces. She may need gentle guidance to navigate around furniture, but she adapts well. While she can hop onto lower furniture, she might need a little lift for taller couches or to get into the car. As the only dog in the home, Lilly prefers to soak up all the affection. She has not been fully tested with cats and appreciates gentle handling, especially around her back. If you’re looking for a calm and affectionate companion to snuggle with, Lilly is eager to fill that role. She’s ready to spend her golden years surrounded by the love she truly deserves.
