About Pixie
Meet Pixie, the charming snaggletooth girl! Pixie spent 251 days in a local city shelter, often overlooked simply because she’s a black dog. She's bursting with life and has a playful spirit that makes her simply irresistible. Previously in a foster home with other dogs, Pixie is comfortable socializing and enjoys playgroups. We’re glad to help with any introductions to resident pups in her potential new home. This sweet girl loves her toys and is highly treat motivated, so she picks up training quickly. While she’s still learning leash manners, she would thrive in a home that offers her plenty of exercise, guidance, and affection. When it’s time to relax, Pixie is a true cuddle bug, eager to snuggle up for movie nights or steal your blankets. Pixie is available for fostering, foster-to-adopt, or adoption. If you’re interested in fostering her, reach out to Ashley at: ashley@heartsalivevillage.org. To adopt, fill out an application, and a ReTreat staff member will contact you soon! Visit our ReTreat location for walk-in adoptions on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 3 PM. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
