About Arf
Meet Arf, a charming Great Pyrenees and Cattle dog mix who is around 9-10 months old and weighs about 70-75 lbs. He’s a neutered male, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, all ready to embark on a new adventure with a caring owner. Though Arf might come off as a bit aloof at first, he quickly warms up to people once he gets to know them. He adores chin rubs and scratches, and he’s quite affectionate, enjoying kisses on his face. His playful nature shines through when interacting with other dogs, and he's been good with introductions. While he has a modest barking habit when he spots cats or chickens, he tends to be easygoing and doesn’t jump up for attention. Arf has lived outdoors and can be a resource guarder with food, possibly due to his current living conditions. He hasn't had much experience walking on a leash, but with some dedicated training, that can change. Arf is currently fostered in Tulare, CA, and just needs someone patient to help him adjust to indoor living and leash skills.
