About Rosey
Meet Rosey, a sweet and affectionate Pit Bull Terrier now looking for her forever home in Chapel Hill, NC. Rosey came to the Orange County Animal Services from another shelter, where she initially felt a bit nervous but quickly warmed up, especially for treats. Her foster friends describe her love for cuddles and scritches, and she returns the affection with plenty of licks! She's friendly with everyone she meets, including kids and strangers, and behaves well on walks, showing no jumping enthusiasm. While she can be a little curious about squirrels or birds, Rosey is easily redirected and remains calm when other dogs or cyclists pass by. Though she doesn’t yet know commands, she responds well to her name, suggesting she’ll be a quick learner. House-trained and excited to explore new places, she has a charming habit of wanting to perch up high, whether it's on the stairs or a picnic table. If you’re looking for a loving companion full of energy and snuggles, Rosey is ready to fill your home with joy. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
