About Pretty Boy

Pretty Boy is a 2-year-old large mixed breed with a big presence and an even bigger heart. He’s affectionate and enjoys cuddling once he feels safe. However, he may initially be fearful of strangers, particularly men, so he will thrive with a patient adopter who understands his need to warm up at his own pace. In his past, Pretty Boy has lived with other dogs, but currently, he shows reactivity on a leash. Because of this, he'll do best as the only dog in a home where he can feel secure. While he has spent some time in a foster home with young children and has shown he might be okay with them, he is not fond of cats. He can play a bit rough when excited due to his size and energy, so it's important for his new family to guide him in managing that energy. With proper training and the right environment, Pretty Boy has the potential to become a loyal and loving companion. Engaging with the MHS Training Center can help him build the confidence he needs to navigate his surroundings comfortably. Click apply to start the adoption process.
