About Pumpkin
Pumpkin is an adorable orange and white boy with a heart as big as his purr. He came to the rescue after surgery for a puncture wound, needing a safe place to heal and recover. Despite his rough start, he immediately showed his sweet and trusting nature, curling up in his foster's lap for over an hour and purring contentedly, as if to say, "Thank you for helping me." Over the past month, Pumpkin has settled into home life beautifully, revealing what a wonderful companion he can be. This affectionate cat loves attention and will soak up every pet you can offer. His favorite is chin scratches, and he'll lean in for more whenever he gets the chance. You'll find him enjoying the comforts of home, whether sleeping peacefully on the bed, perched atop kitchen cabinets keeping watch, or gazing out the window at the world. Pumpkin also loves "Cat TV," spending hours captivated by birds, squirrels, and anything moving across the screen. When it comes to meals, Pumpkin is easy to please, especially with plenty of water mixed into his pate-style wet food. He is a gentle soul looking for a family willing to give him the patience and understanding he deserves. Although he's shown some sensitivity around certain men and may need time to build trust with new people, his affectionate and loyal personality shines through once he feels safe. After overcoming a challenging past, Pumpkin is ready to leave the scary parts behind and find his forever home. He’s not just a survivor—he's a devoted companion who will fill your home with purrs and cuddles. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
