About Fluffy

Fluffy, or "Fofo" as she affectionately responds to, is a delightful 2-year-old blind Shih Tzu mix. Don’t let her lack of sight fool you—she navigates her surroundings with ease and has even mastered climbing stairs. Previously at the Chesapeake Shelter for eye issues, she underwent a double enucleation, which has left her feeling much better. This little girl has a sweet demeanor and usually gets along with larger dogs, as she loves to be a lapdog. Although she’s unsure about cats and prefers to keep her distance, she does not chase or bother them. In her foster home, Fluffy gets along famously with a 3-year-old child, even allowing him to hold her without fuss. She adjusts quickly to new environments and is best suited for a one-story home or one with minimal stairs. Fluffy has a hearty appetite, is not a picky eater, and is housebroken as long as she’s taken outside regularly. Don’t let this lovable gal pass you by; she’s a true sweetheart!
