About Roo
Meet Roo! This medium-sized male dog arrived at the shelter in rough shape, covered in bite wounds and with a swollen face. Despite his past, Roo’s gentle spirit never faded. Now that he’s healed, he’s learning that people can be kind. Although still a bit timid, Roo is starting to build confidence with the help of dedicated volunteers. Watching him come out of his shell is truly rewarding. Roo enjoys spending time outdoors and feels most comfortable exploring his surroundings. Since he likely hasn't lived inside a home, indoor spaces might intimidate him at first. With patience, he can learn that a house can be a safe haven. He has shown friendliness toward other dogs, but his excitement can make him a bit pushy at times. With guidance and continued socialization, Roo has the potential to become a wonderful companion. He is ready for a home where he can receive the time, patience, and love he deserves. In return, you'll gain a loyal adventure buddy eager to discover life's joys. Roo is hopeful for a chance at a good life, and he can't wait to see what the future holds!
