About Koda

Meet Koda, a brave Standard Poodle ready to find his forever family after overcoming a difficult start. Koda came to us from a Houston-area shelter through a cruelty seizure, having endured a lack of proper care. Despite this, his spirit remains unbroken. You’ll notice Koda's coat is currently short due to severe matting that required shaving for his comfort, but it's already starting to grow back as he receives love and care. Affectionate and eager to please, Koda loves being near his people and is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Every day he shows resilience and strength, working on gaining weight and learning what it means to be safe and cherished. Koda is smart and full of love, greeting the world with kindness and hope. He's currently accepting applications, as we know a perfect match is out there for this survivor with a heart of gold.
