Meet India, the newest member of the Pets for Veterans of East Texas program! This delightful 1-year-old German Shepherd mix has a sweet personality and a gentle nature. India is great with children and other dogs, showcasing her friendly demeanor. She walks beautifully on a leash, making her a joy to take out for walks. India was found near Bullard High School, where she was trying to garner attention from passing students. Our mission is to train her as a Seizure Alert and PTSD Alert service dog, as her intelligence and calm temperament will truly benefit a veteran in need.
