About Lycan
Lycan is a remarkable five-year-old Belgian Shepherd/Malinois who is in search of a dedicated foster or adopter well-versed in working or sport dogs. Trained in German, Lycan is impressive in his skillsโhe knows bite work and has a strong drive for ball play. Having faced the threat of euthanasia, this intelligent dog quickly became a priority for us, and his potential was confirmed by trainers who recognized the professional work he had received. Lycan is highly engaged, responsive to commands, and eager for guidance, making him an ideal candidate for someone looking for a serious working companion. Lycan thrives on interaction; he loves people and is quick to show affection by giving his paw and rolling onto his back to be petted. Though currently reactive to male dogs, this trait can be managed by someone with proper experience. He has a medium to high drive and is neutered, heartworm negative, and residing in boarding with a trainer until the right home is found. Transport can be arranged anywhere in the U.S. for approved adopters. We seek someone who appreciates what Lycan offers and can provide him with the active lifestyle he craves. This dog requires more than a casual pet owner; he needs a purposeful life where he can work and excel. If you're ready for this special challenge, your new journey begins here.
