About Jack

Jack’s journey began before he even opened his eyes. He arrived at the shelter as just one week old among 13 tiny puppies, alongside his devoted mother. As the runt of the litter, Jack faced significant challenges, including being treated for hookworms and ringworm during his critical early development. Unfortunately, these health issues led to isolation at key socialization moments, impacting his confidence. Throughout his first year, he experienced the heartache of being adopted only to be returned twice, which left him seeking his place in the world. After overcoming yet another hurdle with Giardia, Jack emerged as a happy, healthy young dog. He boasts a soft black-and-white coat and a gentle soul. Although he may be shy and timid initially, Jack shows quiet bravery as he works through his fears, making meaningful strides toward being a confident pup. He thrives in the company of other dogs and does well with cats, making him a lovely companion. Jack needs a patient family who can love him for who he truly is. In return, he promises a bond that is profound, honest, and fulfilling. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
