About Leo
Leo's story started when he, along with his two brothers and their mother, Sunny, were found abandoned in a crate on a deserted road. Thankfully, a compassionate Good Samaritan intervened to give this little family a second chance at life. Born on March 8, 2026, Leo is currently a vibrant puppy, weighing around 15 pounds. His DNA test indicated that mom is a Chihuahua/Poodle mix, while dad is an Australian Shepherd/Shepherd mix. Given his current size, he is expected to grow to about 25-30 pounds. Full of enthusiasm, Leo is a playful little guy who loves frolicking with his brothers and is quick to engage bigger dogs in fun. Whether he's chasing after toys or showcasing his zoomies, Leo approaches each day with joy and excitement. As a young puppy, Leo needs a dedicated family ready to provide the training and guidance essential for his development into a well-adjusted adult dog. He’s likely to thrive in a home with older children who know how to interact gently with a puppy. A fenced yard will suit him well since he loves outdoor adventures and has a lot of puppy energy to burn off. Leo shows an interest in the barn cats, generally barking to announce his presence, so a feline-free home may be best for him. He could do wonderfully as the only dog in a family that offers him plenty of attention or alongside another friendly dog who enjoys his spirited companionship. Leo is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and on preventive measures for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. Puppies under six months are not yet spayed or neutered, which is the responsibility of the adopter. Based in Texas, we adopt to various states and partner with trusted transport services to ensure safe journeys to their forever homes. We prioritize finding the best match for each puppy. If you're searching for an affectionate, playful companion to join you on life’s adventures, Leo could be the ideal addition to your family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
