About Dax
Meet Dax! This handsome, large black male cat is ready for his forever home. Dax has been healing from a broken leg since February, and he’s eager to find a loving family. His foster caregivers can’t say enough good things about him; he’s a delightful companion who enjoys being near his people. Dax follows you around and doesn’t hesitate to cuddle, even letting out soft cries if he’s left alone in another room. Food is one of his true loves, but he also enjoys playtime, especially with toys and watching birds outside. Dax is calm, affectionate, and has a great temperament. He gets along with the large dogs and other cats in his foster home, making him a great choice for anyone with pets. While he hasn’t spent time with children yet, his laid-back nature suggests he would do well with respectful, quiet kids. Though Dax has a limp due to his previous injury, he still moves around well and participates in play. He uses his litter box reliably and is quite easy going about maintaining his claws. Being a bit less agile, he might prefer staying close to the ground, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. Dax is a charming companion that will warm your heart!
