About Dr. Marty

Meet Dr. Marty, a lively and affectionate guy weighing in at approximately 39 lbs. He's a mix between a Pit Bull Terrier and a Weimaraner, thought to be around 1 to 1.5 years old. Being youthful and spirited, Marty loves to play with his toys and has recently started to chase a ball, showing off his zoomies! While he has a tendency to chew his stuffed toys, he enjoys satisfying his chewing urges with a Kong. Initially, he can be uncomfortable in a locked crate, but he's made great progress sleeping peacefully in an open crate or by a pillow next to it—he's never had an accident indoors.  Marty thrives on walks, managing a loose leash like a pro, though he may tug a bit if he spots squirrels or birds. He is also a fan of car rides, comfortably laying in the back or eagerly looking out the windows. Though he is a bit cautious around new people and other dogs, he warms up quickly and is sure to bond with his human companions. Marty adores gentle pets and cuddles—a true snuggle bug!
