About Cheeto
Cheeto is a cat on a journey of self-discovery. Found in a feral colony by a caring feeder, his initial approach indicated a friendly nature, prompting us to bring him into a foster environment for a fresh start. Over the past few months, Cheeto has shown remarkable progress in adjusting to life indoors. While it took over two weeks for him to be comfortable enough for his foster to touch him, he has since revealed his love for gentle pets and scratches—albeit within the cozy confines of his favorite box in the cat tree. Hissing is his way of signaling discomfort, but he isn’t aggressive; rather, it’s his soft way of expressing unease and a desire for reassurance. Cheeto enjoys interacting with the resident cats in his foster home, often trilling and meowing at them. Their presence seems to boost his confidence, and we’re hopeful he’ll start playing alongside them soon. With continued patience and care, we believe Cheeto will thrive as a beloved house cat, ideally becoming the lap cat his foster dreams of. Click apply to start the adoption process.
