About Inky

Meet Inky, our goofy and lovable gentle giant! At 4.5 years old and weighing in at 76 pounds, Inky has been patiently waiting for over a year for his forever family. Despite being adored by our volunteers and staff, he struggles to understand why he hasn't found a home yet. Inky thrives on human companionship and loves everyone he meets. He enjoys outdoor adventures, especially with a knack for lizard hunting, but what he truly craves is to be included in his humans’ activities. Inky loves to show off his tricks for treats, particularly pup cups, which he considers the ultimate reward. This sweet boy has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, and is fully house trained and crate trained. Inky would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore, or with an active family dedicated to long walks and outdoor fun. He gets along well with other dogs, particularly female ones; his current best friend is Luna, the longest resident at our rescue. After more than a year with us, Inky is ready for his second chance. He is sweet, loyal, and full of love, just waiting for that special family to give him the forever home he deserves. Adoption fee is $295. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
