About Picante
Picante, fondly known as Super Spice, has truly come into her own with the right care. She arrived at the rescue as a timid kitten at just 9 weeks old, full of fear and uncertainty. While her brothers quickly adapted and found their forever homes, Picante needed more time and patience to warm up. Now, she enjoys gentle pets and playtime, especially with wand toys. Although she still prefers not to be picked up, she eagerly rolls on the floor when her foster mom enters the room, showing her playful side. With a little encouragement from treats—especially wet food—she opens up and shows her sweet personality. Picante needs a quiet home where she can feel secure. If you have another cat, introducing them slowly is essential. She gets along well with respectful children but may take time to adjust to new people. If you have a soft spot for shy cats, Picante is ready to meet her forever family!
