About Ranger
Meet Ranger! This spirited two-and-a-half-year-old Australian Cattle Dog is currently in Prineville, OR, and embodies loyalty wrapped in a striking blue coat. At 60 pounds, Ranger is a bundle of energy ready for adventure! House trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations, he’s a good boy who takes pride in his behavior. While he can be wary of new people, especially men, a toss of one of his favorite toys or a few treats will quickly reveal his playful heart. With patience and structured play, he warms up beautifully and builds strong bonds with his humans. Ranger is smart; he already knows commands like sit, stay, and shake. His food motivation helps him learn quickly, especially if snacks are involved. Fetch is his absolute favorite, and he needs one to two hours of daily ball play in a large, fenced yard to stay happy. Without enough activity, he can get a bit bored—so an active family will be essential. Ranger prefers a home where he can be the only pet. He's selective with dogs and is not compatible with cats. If you're looking for an energetic companion to share your adventures, could Ranger be the one? If you're interested in providing Ranger with a loving home, please email adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information on adopting him. Remember, he can even embark on a long-distance adoption journey. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
