About Lady Mae
Meet Lady Mae, an affectionate three-year-old Australian Shepherd eager to find her forever home! Her journey to rescue was not her fault, and now she seeks a loving environment where she can truly belong. This charming girl is what you’d call a "velcro dog." Once she knows she’s safe, she sticks close by, soaking up all the love you offer. Initially a bit shy, Lady Mae has blossomed into a sweet and snuggly companion with a special fondness for children, especially her foster family's five-year-old nephew. She would make a fantastic addition to a household with kids who can match her playful spirit. A house-trained pro, Lady Mae balances her time between being a cozy couch potato and enjoying the outdoors. She’s happy to lounge inside but also loves to run around and burn off some energy. While she gets along with other dogs, be aware that she can be a little bossy with smaller pups; a companion her size or being the only pet may suit her best. She’s curious about cats and seems to want to be friends, but her feelings are still developing. Lady Mae is currently thriving in foster care, and she’s set to be spayed and vaccinated soon. If you have a yard to play in and a heart to fill with love, Lady Mae is ready to be your loyal best friend for life!
