This charming girl loves attention, enjoys being close to her people, and brings smiles wherever she goes with her adorable snorts, expressive face, and happy spirit. Chardonnay thrives on human companionship and would love nothing more than to be the center of someone's world. She does have a spinal injury that may be progressive over time, and while specialist care could potentially help provide her with greater longevity and quality of life, that level of treatment is beyond the scope of our rescue. Because of this, Chardonnay is looking for a special adopter who understands her medical needs and is prepared to provide ongoing care and monitoring as she navigates her condition. Despite her diagnosis, she continues to enjoy life and shares her affectionate, joyful personality with everyone she meets. Chardonnay would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can receive the attention, care, and quiet environment she needs to thrive. She is searching for a compassionate family willing to embrace both her challenges and her many wonderful qualities.
