How this pet arrived: Mia was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on April 13, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Mia is a sweet, sensitive girl who came to us as a stray and can fearful with new faces and unfamiliar places, but once she has time to settle in, her gentle personality really starts to shine! She's been warming up more each day and has shown a soft, affectionate side - she enjoys calm petting, will happily rest her head in your lap, and likes to quietly follow her favorite people around. Mia has also met other dogs and seems social with them, so she may enjoy having a mellow canine friend in her new home. She does have a slightly abnormal gait, and while we don't know what caused it, she currently seems comfortable. To help set Mia and her future family up for success, we'd love for adopters to speak with one of our vets about next steps.
