Alora is a spayed female medium-sized young Labrador Retriever mixed breed. This playful pup enjoys soaking up the sun and playing fetch. She is mostly house trained and is learning commands such as sit, while also getting accustomed to walking on a leash without pulling. Alora is currently in Washington, DC and looking for a loving home to teach her the ropes of puppy life.

About Alora

*Woof* Come meet Alora at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm and 7pm daily! Alora is an affectionate 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix bursting with personality. This sweet girl loves to be adored and will nudge you for pets or pick-ups. Recently introduced to the joy of zoomies, she truly enjoys her toys. She’s a sun-worshipper, always finding prime spots in the house to soak up rays for her afternoon naps. Alora also delights in running through grass, playing fetch, and cuddling up with her favorite humans. She's friendly with new dogs and people, eagerly meeting everyone she encounters. While loud noises tend to startle her, she’s growing more accustomed to them. Alora has begun her training journey and is doing well. She’s kennel trained for overnight and can stay in it for a couple of hours during the day. Potty training is mostly solid — occasional accidents happen, but she's improving. She’s learned to sit and responds well about 75% of the time when called. Alora enjoys walks and doesn't pull on the leash, often excitedly exploring her surroundings. Having interacted well with kids, including toddlers, she's all set to be a beloved companion. Alora is eager for someone to teach her all the important lessons of puppyhood with love and patience!
