About Marco
Meet Marco! Marco is a tiny guy with a big Chihuahua personality. Born in December 2016, he weighs just 4 pounds and knows exactly what he likes—and what he doesn’t. This little gentleman seeks a special person to become his one-and-only best friend. He’s not interested in being everybody’s buddy; think of him as a "look but don’t touch" type of dog—a little piece of art that you can admire until he decides you've earned a place in his inner circle. Marco thrives in a calm environment, which makes a home without children ideal. Disliking fast movements or chaos, he prefers people who respect his space and understand that trust is built over time, rather than through forced affection. While selective about both people and dogs, he surprisingly does well with a confident dog that can set boundaries. He doesn’t necessarily need a canine companion, but the right match could work well. His perfect home would be with someone older or retired who is often around, ready to appreciate a dog with a little attitude and a lot of character. Marco isn’t looking for a social lifestyle; he wants a quiet place to relax, observe, and choose his people carefully. If you understand that trust takes time to build, Marco could be your ideal sidekick. Marco’s adoption donation is $100, which includes his neuter, vaccines, and microchip. Think you can be the one for him?
