Dodger & Pongo Meet Dodger and Pongo, two beautiful Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix brothers who are happy, playful, sweet, and loving young dogs looking for their forever homes. In a very sad twist of fate, their owner was found deceased in the home, leaving these boys with nowhere to go except animal services. Thankfully, they are now safe with DASH and ready for a fresh start. While Dodger and Pongo are a wonderful duo, they do not need to be adopted together. Because they have always enjoyed canine companionship, we would love to see each boy placed in a home with another friendly dog of similar size and energy level. Both have been evaluated by caretakers we know and trust, who describe them as gentle, affectionate family dogs. They have moderate energy levels—active and fun outdoors, yet happy to relax and cuddle indoors with their people. Pongo and Dodger may need a little leash-training, but they are already housebroken and accustomed to living as beloved indoor/outdoor companion dogs.
