About Dexter
Meet Dexter, a charming 10-month-old pup who’s learning to trust again. This medium-sized Terrier mix carries a tender heart and a story that needs to be told. Rescued from a difficult situation when he was just 11 weeks old, Dexter found himself at Peps Pals Rescue, where he was brought in for an owner surrender. The moment we saw his frightened little face, we knew we couldn’t leave him behind. Fostered in a loving environment, Dexter is gradually overcoming his fears. Though he remains wary of people, his true sweetness shines when he feels safe. He thrives around other dogs and draws comfort and confidence from their companionship. Therefore, it’s essential that Dexter goes to a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog who can assist him in this journey. His ideal adopter is someone patient and compassionate, willing to give him the time he needs to grow into his best self. Every small step he takes—from a gentle nuzzle to a wagging tail—is a moment to celebrate. If you are ready to believe in this gentle spirit, Dexter can't wait to meet you. Dexter's adoption fee is $400, plus costs for a health certificate, microchip registration, and a fully refundable neuter deposit. He is fully vaccinated and house trained.
