Help us find Luna's next chapter. Sometimes the most heartbreaking surrenders are the ones made out of pure love. Luna is a 6-year-old Siamese mix who recently arrived at the shelter through absolutely no fault of her own. This was not a decision her family wanted to make. Luna was deeply loved by two young girls who wanted to make sure she would never forget them. They sent her with a t-shirt that smells like home, a crocheted doll made to resemble one of her owners so she wouldn't feel alone, and beautiful handwritten notes reminding Luna just how loved she is. She must truly be someone special to be so incredibly loved by her family, but right now, Luna is trying to adjust to a world that looks very different from the one she knew. She isn't used to the sounds and activity of a shelter. She's used to bedtime snuggles, familiar voices, and unconditional love. Luna is a sweet, gentle girl who may be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness her loving personality will shine through once again. She previously lived successfully with children, and we believe she may do well with other cats. We are unsure how she feels about dogs. She has already known what it feels like to be deeply loved.
