AvailableAbout Brownie $!
If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion who brings pure entertainment, Brownie is your girl! She's a sweet, fun-loving pup with a heart of gold and a delightfully silly personality. Professional Goofball: A bit clumsy and fully entertaining, she happily slips, slides, and bumbles around while she plays. Tennis Ball Enthusiast: Fetch is her absolute favorite pastime. Have a ball? You've made a best friend. Only-Child Status: Brownie wants all your love to herself! She needs to be the only dog in the home (no dog parks, please). Fitness Partner: Ready for walks and runs, she's perfect for an active lifestyle. Kid-Approved: She has successfully spent time with children as young as 5. Leans Into Love: While warming up, she prefers "petting" you with her body rather than being handled directly. Ready to add a whole lot of laughter to your life? Brownie can't wait to meet you! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
