Welcome back to Dogwood, Maggie Mae! This sweetheart came to Dogwood in August 2018 after being found as a street stray with an injured foot. Maggie Mae has been lovingly adored until recently when her senior person became unable to care for her. When she was with us, she loved dogs and cats, and would wag her tail at every person in her sights. Her current foster home has large dogs that seem to trigger her, but she gets along fine with the smaller dog. Maggie Mae is is a Poodle/Terrier type, now 9 years old and is a bit plump, but 10 pounds is a goal weight we'll work towards. While her previously injured foot will never be 100%, it doesn't slow her down a bit.
