About Rupert
Meet Rupert! Rupert is a charming young kitten who has just been rescued from the outdoors and is beginning to discover what it means to feel safe and loved as part of a family. The indoors are all new for him, and he’s taking his time adjusting to the comforts and routines of a cozy home. Right now, Rupert is learning to trust humans. He’s not aggressive, just a little unsure and shy as he navigates this new environment. While he isn’t quite ready to be held or petted for long, he is slowly starting to associate gentle hands with tasty treats like Churu, which makes him feel more at ease. Mealtime is a highlight for Rupert; it's one of his favorite moments where he starts to feel comfortable. He’s beginning to link human interaction with positive experiences, helping him gain confidence little by little. Rupert truly lights up during playtime! He enjoys engaging with the other kittens in his foster room, and their presence helps him feel secure. Watching them play with toys allows him to come out of his shell at his own pace, free from pressure. With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, he is expected to continue making steady progress in learning that humans can be gentle and kind. He will flourish in a home that respects his need for time and allows him to build trust naturally. If you're looking for a gentle kitten with playful energy and a lot of potential, Rupert is on his way to becoming a wonderful companion—he just needs someone to believe in him.
