Sweet Dee approaches every day with the enthusiasm of someone who has just discovered fun for the first time. Born in an abandoned south side garage and rescued alongside her siblings, Sweet Dee has blossomed into a shiny black kitten with subtle stripes, a giant purr, and a talent for turning absolutely anything into a toy - a wand toy, a ball track, a bookmark, a shadow, a suspicious dust particle, or her own tail? All excellent. She's playful, athletic, and just a little dramatic. Her tail has been known to puff up at the slightest excitement, whether she's stalking a sibling, launching a sneaky pounce, or convincing herself that something weird is happening. Most of the time, the excitement exists only in her imagination, but she commits to the performance. Despite all that energy, she's also an affectionate little sweetheart. Pick her up and the purring usually starts immediately. After a hard day of running, chasing, leaping, and supervising, she'll seek out her people for a nap. Her preferred sleeping position is draped across your hip or belly like a furry scarf. Sweet Dee gets along well with other cats, respects adult cats' boundaries, and would love an energetic feline friend to wrestle and play with. She hasn't met children yet, but her confidence and curiosity suggest she'd likely adjust well. Sweet Dee will need another cat in her forever home. If you're looking for a pair, her siblings Mac, Dennis, and Charlotte are also available and would happily continue their daily schedule of wrestling matches, cuddle sessions, and highly questionable life choices.
